2-13-1970 NYC, NY – Fillmore East, Early Set (#148)

Set List: Cold Rain & Snow, Beat it on down the Line, Good Lovin’, Mama Tried, Black Peter, Hard To Handle, Saint Stephen, Not Fade Away, Casey Jones

Starts out in an already established “Cold Rain” with decent quality. After jamn’ through some “Good Lovin’ ” that sounds as if there is only one drummer playing, they get to a “Black Peter” that is excellent.  After the reemergence of  “Not Fade Away”  these past few months the band has really developed it into a good jam, far from the first time they played it in 68′.

Highlight: Not Fade Away

Recommendation: One for the Heads
